Hey nerds

Sorry for the massive absence, I've been swamped with school work and a sickness all on top of each other. Needless to say, I haven't done shit since that experimental drawing of Soleada. BUT, I do have something to share to get started with October.

Now, I love October, it's my favourite month for many reasons, primarily Autumn. I'd love to try out something called Drawtumn, but I simply don't have the willpower to endure another unrealistic quota thing on top of school. With Summer, it was fine because once I was done with work for the day, I was done for the entire day. But with school, homework exists, exams exist, it's stupid and I hate it. I will however try to pick up the pace with my work and try to get out AT THE VERY LEAST two pieces by the end of the month. I already have a pretty refined sketch to work on, along with a few other ideas (I'll share a little preview of the sketch at the end of this post.)

I want to give a lot of deserved attention to Desdemona, a character I've had for a while, but kind of forgot about (surprise surprise.) I've posted stuff of her already (twice before actually: Here and Here.) But the former was just a quick doodle, and the latter I only shaded everything, so I wouldn't really count it. This one will be her first REAL thing drawn by me. And already it's coming along nicely. Best part is, this isn't even the only thing I'll draw of her this month hopefully, I won't spoil much, so all I'll say is hopefully look forward for Halloween if you're interested in my work.

Figured as one last hoorah before summer ends, I went over all of the pieces that involved non-human characters, and made human alts for fun. They are very simple alts, only changing colours and textures, and in some very rare cases removing extra bits that wouldn't make sense on a human, like Millie's horns or Orchid's flower.

I must stress that these are SIMPLE alts, and were only made for fun. I don't plan on making these a constant thing, however if enough people ask, I might include more alts like this for those who dislike monster characters. To each their own I guess.

Now if you've been enjoying my work for about a year or so now, you may recall something I did last June called Kinkune (or kjune for short.) It was an "event" my friends and I did because we were really impatient for kinktober during 2020, this would be the third year that I've done kjune.

However, you may have noticed that it's already the third of June and nothing has been posted yet. Well don't worry your squishy heads about it because I can explain why. Now, I finally got a summer job, so I've been very busy as of late. I still want to do something like kjune, so I've come up with an idea that allows me to spread out 12 prompts over the entire summer break. I don't have a name for it yet, but I know I can't keep calling it kjune since it spreads into July and august as well. But whatever it is, I figure I should let you in on the loose schedule for when things will be posted. That way I will commit to it instead of collapsing under the pressure of last year.

So basically, starting this Sunday (June 5th), I will spend a week on one prompt, and post the result on the following Saturday. Which is to say, you can look forward to something new every Saturday after this one.

In short:

• June 11th, 12th*, 25th
• July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
• August 6th, 13th, 20th with the 27th being the finale.

*Oh by the way, a nice surprise is waiting for you all on the 12th, it will count as the second week and will be posted much earlier. I won't give away all of the details, but just know that it will be big.

I hope you all look forward to what will be shown off on those days as much as I look forward to making them. The first piece will be posted on the 11th, probably earlier to compensate for the 12th but if that happens, I doubt anyone will complain.

With that being said, I'll share a teaser of what's to come, hopefully that can hold you off for the next week.

Took me a while but I finally settled on a good baseline for the sketch. Huge thanks to Varhell for helping me solidify and improve the sketch (because believe me, it was fine, it just wasn't up to my standards.)

I MIGHT do a second thing just for fun, but that one won't be as lewd. Borderline pinup, not really nsfw. Of course, still with a bunny suit because yknow, easter.

Anyways, here's a preview of what I got so far. It will be posted on easter, but the production itself might be slow due to my finals being this week.

Hey dweebs, I was gonna do something for St Patrick's day but I got too damn busy. My freshman year of university ends in a couple of weeks so I figured I'd go all out for easter since I'm actually home for that. Don't hold your breath though, we both know how bad I am at commitment.

I got a poll running that will allow you to choose between two choices: Algo or Nela & Vendetta. The reason why I have one choice with one char and the other with two is completely random and I will not go into detail about it. HOWEVER, I enjoy drawing Algo, so that's why I made a poll in the first place because I simply couldn't decide.

I'll make an update post after 7 days which will be when I check the poll to see the results. If you want a say in this totally not rigged democratic decision, then vote or something I don't know lmao.

I am in the process of moving to my dorm for university, so I'll be fairly inactive for the first week-ish of September. I plan on finishing a sketch I had started a couple of days ago, it should be finished by the 10th hopefully.

Today marks the end of June, meaning I have one more piece to show before I take a break for a bit before jumping straight into Art Fight.

Unfortunately; Newgrounds doesn't really allow multiple people to publish a collaborated piece, so instead of uploading it, you can find the finished piece Here.

There were five of us who were involved in the making of this piece. I worked on the shading/highlights.

As I mentioned either yesterday or the day before, day 19 will be posted along side day 20 on the 27th. It's a fairly tall order but that's because day 19 actually comes with a minor redesign to an existing character AND a one-time only gender-bent design purely for day 19.

I think I've only done this once actually, never been a fan of genderbending my characters. But i like how it came out so the sketch will begin tomorrow. It should just end up being a pin up, same thing with day 20.

On the plus side, I've finished my Pre Calculus exam so I am officially done with school until September, so these last few days should hopefully come out quicker.

Finally, here is the sketch of the gender-bent character design for day 19.
